Baker’s Assistant /Kitchen Worker

 

The Baker Assistant/Kitchen Worker works in one of the coolest, up-and-coming bakeries in town!  This position assists in making French macarons in unique flavors, and assists in packaging macarons, cleaning, and dishwashing + tons of PERKS:

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

 

Boston Bonbon is a French Macaron company that specializes in hand-crafted French macarons in extremely UNIQUE flavors.  All of our macarons are Gluten Free and some are Dairy-free and Vegan as well.  We have done a lot of successful sold-out Popup events, and we opened our first storefront in Cohasset MA in early 2017!  We were featured in Channel 7, Boston Globe, Boston Magazine, Arlington Wicked Local, Boston Eater, and Somerville Scout. We sell via several channels including wholesale, catering, farmers markets and Popup events throughout the Boston Metro area.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Positive attitude with good communication skills.

  • Reliable and flexible with schedule.

  • Willingness to learn.  Some baking experience preferred but NOT required.

  • A passion for good food is a plus!

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assists with the French macaron making process as needed.

  • Packages macarons.

  • Washes small kitchen tools.

  • Cleans work stations before and after shifts.

  • Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas

  • Puts away deliveries.

  • Performs other baking or kitchen duties as needed.

Pay: Depending on experience, $15 to $20 per hour + BONUS!!

Hours & Logistics:

  • Initially part-time, but with a strong opportunity to make the position Full Time.

  • Minimum 15-20 hours a week.

  • Schedule is flexible.  We have morning or afternoon or evening shifts.  

  • Location: Cohasset downtown
